REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, ABU DHABI - British Queen, Elizabeth II, and her husband Prince Philip arrived in Abu Dhabi, UAE, after more than three decades ago. On his first visit in the oil-rich country, the Queen is dressed in golden and white colors go directly to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the tomb of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahayan, UAE founder who died in 2004.
In 1979, the Queen visited the UAE at the invitation of Sheikh Zayed. And this time, he again visited the country at the invitation of Sheikh Zayed child who is also President of the UAE, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed a;-Nahayan.

Queen also see new designs Sheikh Zayed Museum will be built on Saadiyat Island, off the monitor Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the British Museum. The museum was designed by British architects, Foster and Partners.
After visited the UAE on Thursday night was Queen Elizabeth will fly to Oman to celebrate the 40th birthday of the Sultan Qaboos. The seven emirates which form the UAE is a former British protectorate until independence in 1971. Meanwhile, Oman has a long history of economic and military ties closely with the British.
