Can a smoker entered the mosque?

From Ibn 'Umar-radhiallahu' anhuma-, that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said:

من أكل من هذه الشجرة يعني الثوم فلا يقربن مسجدنا

"Whoever ate from this tree, namely garlic, then he should never approach our mosque." (Narrated by al-Bukhari no. 339 and Muslim, no. 561)

From Jabir ibn Abdullah t of the Prophet Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam that he said:

من أكل من هذه البقلة الثوم و قال مرة من أكل البصل والثوم والكراث فلا يقربن مسجدنا فإن الملائكة تتأذى مما يتأذى منه بنو آدم

"Those who eat vegetables garlic this,-and on another occasion he said," He who eats onion and garlic and white daffodils, "- then he should not approach our mosque, because the angel was annoyed from the smell that humans also feel disturbed (due to smell). "(Narrated by Muslim, no. 564)

From Aisha-radhillahu anha-she said:

أمر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ببناء المساجد في الدور وأن تنظف وتطيب

"The Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wasallam ordered to build a mosque in a lot of his home (residential), and also ordered to clean up and give fragrance to it." (Narrated by Abu Dawud no. 455, AT-Tirmidhi no. 542, Ibn Majah no. 751 , and declared saheeh by Al-Albani in al-Mashabih Misykah no. 717)

From Ibn Abbas-radhiallahu 'anhuma-he said: The Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said:

ما أمرت بتشييد المساجد
قال ابن عباس: لتزخرفنها كما زخرفت اليهود والنصارى

"I was not instructed to raise the mosques."
Ibn Abbas said, "Truly you will elevate the mosques as the Jews and the Christians exalt (their worship places)." (Narrated by Abu Dawud no. 448 and declared saheeh by Al-Albani in al-Misykah no. 718)
Brief explanation:
The mosque is a good place and also where the people are good, therefore he should be purified from foul odors and vice versa continues diwangikan with fragrant odors. It is far more mainstream and more important than decorating-decorate and elevate the mosque, because the two deeds is not the guidance of the Prophet-alaihishshalatu yours respectfully.

So this hadeeth shows the ban firmly entered the mosque to anyone who brings bad smell, both in body and in her mouth. Why because the angels will feel disturbed as human beings therefore also disturbed by it. Therefore he who smells his body, then he should shower first or at least wear perfumes that can eliminate the smells his body before he went to the mosque. Similarly, people who mouth odor by eating a raw onion-bawangan (not cooked / fried) or been drinking alcohol or smoking cigarettes out and the like that cause malodorous mouth, then he should first remove the smell of her mouth before going to the mosque. If not then he has fallen into the prohibition of the Prophet-alaihishshalatu yours respectfully-that is the hadeeth of Ibn 'Umar, and Jabir above.

Conversely Islam mosque menuntunkan for always cleared of all the things that can disturb kekhusyuan worship and perfume the mosque with air freshener or by burning bukhur (fragrant wood smoke.)

Maintain peace of people who worship which is the core of the construction of mosques, including beyond the limit and therefore mubazzir when the mosque was built or renovated decorated or not for this purpose. Truly yours respectfully alaihishshalatu-Prophet has said raise terlarangnya mosque because it is an act of infidels. What is meant by elevating the mosque here is not to build in 2 floors or more, because it is sometimes necessary to accommodate the pilgrims. But that meant in this prohibition is to raise the roof of the mosque without a purpose, as the high roofs of the church. Also included in this prohibition is to decorate mosques, garnished with proceedings that are not beneficial and even tended to interfere with people who pray, for example by writing calligraphy on the wall or a patterned tiles laid in front of or below (on mat) the person who prays, who can unsettle person who prays. And so on.

Among the law relating to the mosque is, should the Muslims build a mosque for each settlement. Which aims to turn the settlement over the syiar Islam and to facilitate the Muslims in worship to Allaah. And they should not build two or more mosques within a settlement except with the permission of the government and has reason syar'i in its development. Because it Allaah and His Messenger, denounced the construction of mosques which aims only to emulate the other mosques, and also because it will cause divisions among the Muslims and mempersedikit number of pilgrims at the first mosque.

As part of the Indonesian Muslim community, has a great opportunity to make extraordinary expression of Indonesian Islam as a "mainstream" or an alternative to the expression of the Middle East Islam that Islam is the one in relation to the Qur'an, but its expression varies in the Middle East , India, Pakistan and Indonesia. In addition to the publicity and the Islamic discourse is strengthened at the global level, other factors also determine the increase in conversion to Islam among White British is the increasing number of Muslim immigrants in the UK as from Pakistan, Turkey, Bangladesh, Middle East, and Asia such as Indonesia and Malaysia.

The number of Muslim immigrants are making symbols of Islam is widespread and may be found in various parts of the city. For example, Butcher Halal or kosher meat, kosher pizza, and so forth as many women on the street wearing a hijab.

More Growing Lots Number of Muslims in Mozambique

Not many know, the name of Mozambique, a country in southern Africa, derived from the name of an Arab merchant who first stopover in the country named Musa Al Big or Mossa Al Bique or Mussa Ben Mbiki. The Portuguese who had ruled the country then called Mozambique.

Mozambique has an area of 801,537 km ² and makes the country as the 35th largest country in the world after Pakistan. The total area of the country which is divided into 11 provinces were almost the same with Turkey. The 11 provinces are Cabo, Delgado, Gaza, Inhambane, Manica, Maputo (city), Maputo, Nampula, Niassa, Sofala, Tete, and Zambezia.

In countries with a population of 23.4 million people, the influence and teachings of Islam is growing rapidly. According to data of Religious Freedom Report, the census of 2007, adherents of animism are still very big. Religion Islam continues to spread to the adherents of animism, so the number of Muslims in the country's growing big.

Based on the census, the number of Muslims reaching 27.8 percent of the total population.
However, according to Muslim scholars in Mozambique, the number of Muslims in the country more than the figures shown by the census. The majority of Muslims in the country are Sunni, although it was recorded also adherents of the Shia Ismaili.

Adherents of Islam in Mozambique comes from the original residents who initially embraced animism, immigrants of Asian descent SelatanIndia and Pakistan, as well as immigrants from North Africa and the Middle East.
We have the largest Muslim community in northern Mozambique. Most of the adherents of Islam in that country is a congregation of several congregations, especially Qadiriyah and Syadziliyah.

Slowly but surely, the mosques stand on almost every city. At the heart of Maputo City - the capital of Mozambique - there had been three great mosque.
The three stood in the center of a very strategic. In small towns were easily found the mosque building.

Indeed, Islam in Mozambique has been rooted since the 10th century AD S Von Sicard in his article titled Islam in Mozambique: Some Historical and Cultural Perspectives disclose that fact.
According to him, Islam in Mozambique as a means of history back in the Middle Ages, namely the 10th century AD

"The historical record shows that the region of Mozambique has been known and very often visited by explorers and Muslim merchants," said Von Sicard. Entering the mid-15th century, the Sultanate of Muslim control of the area along the coast until it reaches the Zambezi. In the rapidly growing commercial area.

In 1505, the Portuguese came to Mozambique in order to colonize and exploit the natural resources that exist in the region. Previously, the people of India has found its way into the country.
The arrival of Portuguese to Mozambique has triggered the confrontation between Muslims and Christians in the region.

Muslims face tough times in the Portuguese colonial era. Throughout the period of Estado Novo (1926-1974), Roman Catholicism became the dominant religion, and even became the official religion, especially when the government and the church to establish an alliance. Discriminatory attitude towards the Islamic countries began to decrease when the outbreak of the Liberation War in Mozambique.

In fact, from that moment the country began to achieve religious. The goal, for Muslims not to join the pro liberation groups.

Entering the 18th century AD, the position of Islam in northern Mozambique was getting stronger. Muslims who follow orders through a network plays a major role in spreading the religion of Allah SWT. In fact, Muslims in the country was fighting for independence. Only in 1975, Mozambique could be separated from the shackles of colonialism.

Post-independence Muslims formed an organization that engages in politics. However, Muslim political movement in Mozambique was packed through various social programs. Difficulties and challenges faced by experienced and Muslims in Mozambique since 1987 began to decrease.

Since 1989 - when the socialist era ended, the Muslims can freely run his worship. The Muslim community has begun to establish a new mosque. Muslims are also eager to build a mosque on every corner of town and township. In fact, the price of building materials in the country's relatively expensive.

In addition, Mozambique Muslims also have their representatives in parliament. Mozambique is now also have an Islamic university in Nampula and has branches in Inhambane. Mozambique also active as a member of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC).

Patience and Trust

By Sholehudin A Aziz

In the midst of calamity that struck our beloved country, a lot of calls scholars and national leaders that we should be patient and put their trust in Allah SWT. Only with patience and trust, all of the tests or trials and that disaster can pass well, to bring goodness and blessing.

However, patience and trust is sometimes too easy to say, but difficult to realize in the practice of daily life. Finally, patience and trust only becomes mere slogans and jargon, minus the actual application. Patience is a characteristic of true believers in addition to gratitude, as mentioned in a hadith of the Prophet that says, "What a unique attitude of the believers. All that happened to him is considered good. There is no attitude like that, except in people who believe. If you get the ease he was grateful, it is considered good for him. And, if overwritten difficulty he be patient, it is considered good for him. "

In another occasion, the Prophet Muhammad always taught the people affected in a manner most advantageous to themselves, namely patience and introspection (al-ihtisab), giving the reason that patience and introspection will be able to alleviate the misfortune and multiply the reward. He also asserted that many complained, annoyed, and angry will increase the burden of calamity and relieve the reward. Prophet explains that there is no grace of God better and more extensive for His servants than patience. Because God Almighty really love the people who are patient. (Surah Ali Imran [3]: 146).

Patience does not come by itself, but it should be sought and socialized to become the main character himself. This is where it takes sacrifice and struggle against the desires of our hearts abstinence self.
Rest assured, armed with patience, certainly the whole issue will be completed in the best way. Allah says, "Truly I have rewarded them this day because of their patience. Surely they are the ones who win." (Surat al Mu'minun: 111).

Meanwhile, the trust is a true complementary nature of the patient. Trust is the heart of all test and trial surrender to His will. According to al-Hafi Basyar and Yahya bin Muaz, trust is closely related to our pleasure of God as protector in life.

The presence of trust in themselves will bring the ease of overcoming the problem. Because we really expect relief and ease only from Allah the Almighty and Supreme Benefactor. The author believed, when the combination of patience and trust yourself and always present in every human soul, the ease and success will be his best achievement. May we all, including those who are patient and trust. Amen.

Pregnancy is Fii Sabilillah Jihad for Muslim Women (1)

By: Ibn Tiangfei

Pregnancy is an event that is highly coveted by a Muslim woman. Especially for those who had recently married and have an average age of young (young couples). Although there are some of them are deliberately delaying pregnancy for various reasons. For example: the Muslim woman wanted to finish school or college first, there is a reasonable Muslim woman wants to enjoy the days 'courtship after marriage' with her husband and others. Photo: hyd-news.blogspot.com

Pregnancy has a special meaning for a Muslim woman. Besides aiming to continue the lineage (outward objective), pregnancy is one means of jihad in the path of Allah 'Azza wa Jalla. And of course not just stop at the level of pregnancy only. Various long process that will be passed by a Muslim woman after pregnancy, such as birth and continuing with the process of educating and raising children are also included jihad in the way of Allah 'Azza wa Jalla.

Why does pregnancy included jihad in Allah's way?

In languages (etymology), jihad means the power of business, difficulty and ability. (Lisaanul 'Arabic (II/395-396), Mu'jamul Wasiith (I/142)).

Meanwhile, according to the terms syar'i (terminology), Al-Jihad means to fight the infidels, that is trying in earnest to devote the strength and ability, either words or deeds. (See an-Nihaayah FII Ghariibil Hadiits (I/319) Ibn al-Athir).

Jihad by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah rahimahullahu is: "Spilling all the ability to achieve what he loves Allaah and rejects all who hated God." (Majmuu 'Fataawaa Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (X/192-193)).
According to Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyyah rahimahullahu, jihad has four levels, namely:

1. Jihad against lust
2. Jihad against syaithan
3. Jihad against infidels and jihad against the hypocrites
4. Jihad against the despotic leaders, heretics and bad actors

The relationship between the pregnancy with jihad in the top four levels are as follows:

Women who are pregnant experience physical changes, especially in the abdominal area. In addition to the abdominal area, physical changes are also common in pregnant woman's body posture (posture fatter). Despite the fact that not all pregnant women experience changes in body posture to be fat.

Some things that cause the body posture of pregnant women get fat on them due to genetic factors (heredity), growth hormone and changes in lifestyle. Obese due to genetic factors usually occurs because one or both parents of the woman also has a fat physical. Genetic factors can not possibly be avoided by humans, because it is the destiny of Allah 'Azza wa Jalla and the man can not choose who should be born from the womb. Likewise, the issue of growth hormones that can not be avoided by pregnant women. Maybe things you can do is set the pattern of life of the man himself, such as diet, sleep patterns and others.

During pregnancy, the pregnant woman (who has the posture of both fat and thin) tend to change in terms of lifestyle. Especially in the diets. For example: if on ordinary days (when not pregnant) a woman accustomed to eating one plate at a time to eat, so when it is pregnant, she could eat two plates or more in one meal. Usually it is used as an excuse is a pregnant woman must be to feed two people (ie the pregnant women themselves and their fetuses), then the amount of food that enters the body should be doubled as well. Such attitudes can be categorized as an attitude of excessive, because, according to nutrition experts and health, food needs among non-pregnant women with pregnant women is a little different.

Thus, the excessive manner in terms of eating the food for pregnant women is because it is more dominated by the passions that are less controlled. And any that are less restrained carnality is coming from syaithan. Allah 'Azza wa Jalla dislike towards his people who have excessive lifestyle. Allah Almighty says,

"... And do not be exaggerated. For Allah loves not those who exaggerated." (Surat al-Anam: 141).

In addition to the excessive appetite, excessive anger lust sometimes are faced by pregnant women, especially if the pregnancy is quite old. This is caused by a pregnant woman increasingly difficult to move / migrate due to the greater size and weight of the fetus. Especially when coupled with various other complaints, such as headache, what foods if eaten was feeling and so forth.

If such conditions could faced by a Muslim woman with patience and sincere heart and be able to control the passions and just expect the pleasure of Allah 'Azza wa Jalla, God willing, will be a jihad Fii Sabilillah which gives a degree of faith and piety in Allah's abundant 'Azza wa Jalla. Amen.
To be continued.

After that, the master ordered him to slaughter the sheep again, and ordered him, "Put the two parts of the body was the worst sheep."

Found it, his master said, "I ordered you to give me two parts of the body the best sheep and then you give me the lamb tongue and heart! Next I ordered you to remove two parts of the body of sheep the worst, and you also get rid of it tongue and calf's liver. Why so? "

Luqman replied, "Because there is no body part that is better than both if both are good, and no part of her worst of both if both are bad. (Tafseer al-Qurtubi: 14/42, 140-141, Qashash Al-Qur'an: 198-199, az-Zuhd, Ahmad: page 65, Tafseer Ibn Katheer: 3 / 536).

Although, according to history, he was a slave who is black, thick-lipped, and have your feet are cracked, but he has given a tremendous gift of wisdom from Allah 'Azza wa Jalla. The messages and advice from Luqmanul Hakim very touching hearts and always invites us as Muslims to the truth. In fact, some advice narrated by the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam.

It shows that Allah 'Azza wa Jalla never differentiate in terms of physical and tribes of each of His servants who believe. And the things that distinguish the presence of Allah 'Azza wa Jalla is their faith and taqwa. And it is appropriate that we as people of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam would hear different advice coming from various ethnic groups, as long as advice is based on sharia and guidance of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam. To be continued, Insha Allah.

Singapore Opens India Mosque For the State Heritage

A 182-year-old building in Telok Ayer dedicated to Indian Muslims, would be reopened as a heritage center in May next year.

The building, called the Nagore Dargah, built about 1828 by Tamil Chulia Muslims from India. It was among 61 buildings on site which was established and protected for their historical value under the Preservation of Monuments Act.

The building will reopen as the Nagore Dargah Heritage Centre (Photo: www.tamilnadudirectory.net) in May, as announced yesterday at the headquarters of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Muis) at Braddell.

This building will feature exhibits and artifacts from the Indian-Muslim community, and a restaurant run by Banquet Holdings, kosher food chain. Supper will also pay for the renovation of the center, estimated to cost $ 500,000.

Two-storey building, with a floor area about the size of two five-room HDB apartment, is a replica of a temple in Tamil Nadu in India which is home of the relics of Shahul Hamid, who is respected by Indian Muslims as a figure who helped spread Islam to India.

Building Telok Ayer is a community asset that is managed by Muis. The mosque has been closed to the public since 2008, following restoration work.

Before that, the supporters, mostly Indian Muslims, came all day to give tribute to these figures. Once a year, it draws up to 1,000 people to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad and Shahul Hameed.
There are about 60,000 Indian Muslims there.

To convert the building into the center of inheritance, several leading Indian Muslim leaders contacted for consultation, including Farihullah, president of Muslim Association, India United.

Muis support the request for the Preservation of Monuments Board for conversion from a place of worship for the use of community and environment. This application was approved in July this year.

Indian Muslim leaders, who come together to form a fundraising committee Nagore Dargah, anticipate that the inclusion of a commercial restaurant may not welcomed by some parties in the community. But they said they also realize it takes money to maintain the use of the center.

In addition to paying the renovation account, Banquet Holdings will pay to obtain the artifact and run daily operations.

During a press conference yesterday, Indian Muslim leaders said they hope the center will feature the story of Indian Muslims in Singapore.

Naseer Ghani, secretary of the fundraising committee has collected $ 165,000 said: 'Visitors can leave the center with the full experience, sight, smell and taste - the Muslim culture of India. "

Plans for the heritage center began in 1994 when a committee was formed to raise funds. While the majority of Indian Muslim leaders to support the movement, some are worried that the central legacy - including restaurants, may not be able to fully capture the religious traditions associated with the building.

"So if a commercial restaurant is on the inside, these side effects can be extraordinary," said Mohamed Taifoor, 51, a car dealer and former leader of the Mosque. 'This building is a place of respect. If you can not get respect, you lose value. "

Yesterday, Naseer, who is also a member of the board of the Federation of Muslim India, an umbrella organization for 15 groups of Indian-Muslims here, said the restaurant will only take 20 percent of floor area.

Indian Muslim food, along with promoting awareness of community habit.

Farihullah added: 'Nagore Dargah is an icon in India. Turn it into a heritage center to serve the purpose of education for the community. As for food - if the show Indian Muslim food, will also have educational value.

"So when people go there, not just any ordinary experience."

Banquet CEO Max Lim said: "We owe our success largely to our Muslim customers. This is something valuable to give back to society."

Allaudin Mohamed, chairman Khalid Mosque in Joo Chiat which serves most of the Muslims of India, asking for an understanding and compromise.

"It's important for us to be united and not divided on this. We all want to Nagore Dargah remain. That's what we should focus on."

Holy Is Half the Faith (2)

By: Ibn Tiangfei

In the previous article has explained about the importance of chastity for the people of Islam (along with some arguments from the Quran and hadith the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam). In this article will repeat some of the discussion of the previous article.

Indeed Islam is a religion of purity, so that Allah 'Azza wa Jalla makes holiness (thaharah) that perfectly legal conditions to be one of prayer. As word of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam,

"There is no holy prayer acceptable to God." (Narrated by Muslim). Photo: mt-alkahfi.blogspot.com

Islam invites his people to always purification (thaharah), both physically and holy scriptures in mind. Allah Almighty says,

"Truly Allah loves those who repent, and loves those who purify themselves." (Surat al-Baqara: 222).

Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

"Holy half of faith." (Narrated by Muslim).

A Muslim who will perform the prayers of worship, he must purify himself first. One form of purification (thaharah) that disyariahkan in Islam is the ablution. Ablution hadats serves to eliminate small. Like: urination, defecation, and fart (exhaust air). In addition to its small hadats, someone who will pray, but he was fast asleep, then he must perform ablution again.
Primacy Ablution

From Abdullah al-Shunabihi ra, that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

"If a servant of ablution, as she rinsed her mouth, out came his mistakes from his mouth. When he was cleaning the nose, out his mistakes from his nose. When he was washing face, get out his mistakes from his face to come out from the edge of his eyelids. When she wash hands, get out his mistakes from his hands to get out from under the nails his hand. When he rubbed his head, his mistakes out of his head to both ears. When he washed his legs, get out his mistakes from his feet to get out from under her toenails. Then, went to the mosque and his prayer as an additional reward. " (Reported by: Malik, an-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah, and al-Hakim).

From Abu Hurairah ra that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

"Will you show me that with God's deeds eliminate errors and uplift you?" The Companions replied, "Would you, O Messenger of Allah". He said, "(The practice is) complete ablution during dislikes, many steps towards the mosque, and waiting for the prayer after prayer. It is a struggle. It is a struggle. It is a struggle. " (Reported by: Malik, Muslim, at-Tirmidhi, and an-Nasa'i).

Nu'aim al-Mujmir radi 'anhu said, "I ride with Abu Hurairah to the top of the mosque. He perform ablution and said,' I've heard the Prophet said," Verily my Ummah on the Day of Judgement will be called in a state of brilliant white of the former ablution . Whoever is able to widen its white, then do it about it. "(Narrated by Bukhari).

Fardhu Ablution

Ablution has some fardhu / pillar that must be done. If one of fardhu / pillars are not done, then ablution becomes invalid according to sharia. According to Sheikh Sayyid Sabiq in his book 'Fiqh al-Sunnah al-Thaharah chapter', there are six fardhu ablution, namely:

1. Intention

Basically the intention is the desire to do an act for the sake of seeking the pleasure of Allah 'Azza wa Jalla by His law. Intention is a charity at heart, not into the tongue. Pronounce / say the intention is not in the sharia. Theorem of the intent is the hadeeth Omar r.a. that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

"Surely it depends on charitable deeds and real intentions of each person being paid according to what he intended." (Hadith narrated: Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, an-Nasa'i, at-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Ahmad).

2. Washing the face once
Its purpose is to drain the water to the entire surface of the face. While the restriction is from the top face of the forehead to chin and from the edge of one ear to ear the other side.

3. Wash both hands up to elbow
Elbow is the joint that separates between the forearm with upper arm. Siku is part of the body must be washed (wet), since this is always done by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam.

4. Wiping the head
Wiping means wetting. This can not be accomplished except with the movement of limbs that rub, rub with a rubbed. So, if you just put a hand or finger over the head (without friction), then this is not called a rub. There are several ways rubbed the head:

First, wipe all parts of the head.
From Abdullah bin Zaid: "That the Prophet PBUH. rubbed his head with both hands, ie both hands pulled from the front to back, starting from the front of his head, pulled toward the shoulder, then brought back to where it began earlier. " (Hadith narrated: Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, an-Nasa'i, at-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah).

Second, just rubbed turban
From Amr bin Umayyad r.a. said: "I saw the Holy Prophet. turban and stroked both his shoes. " (Hadith narrated: Ahmad, Bukhari, and Ibn Majah).

From Bilal that the Holy Prophet. He said: "Rub both shoes and Khimar (headgear)". (Hadith narrated: Ahmad).

Third, rubbing the crown and the turban
In the hadith Mugheerah bin Shucba ra, mentioned that the Prophet. ablution. He rubbed the crown, turban, and two of his sandals. (Hadith narrated: Muslim).

5. Washed two feet to the ankles
Based on the Word of Allah 'Azza wa Jalla,
"O ye who believe, if you want to pray, wash your faces and your hands up to elbow, and Rub your heads and (wash) your feet to the ankles." (Surat al-Ma'idah: 6).

From Ibn Umar r.a. said: "The Prophet PBUH. Disadvantaged from us in a journey. He followed us when Asr time has been narrow. We immediately made ablution and wiped our feet. He cried aloud two or three times, "Woe to the ankles from the Fire." (Hadith narrated: Bukhari and Muslim).

6. Orderly
Because Allah 'Azza wa Jalla in the verse (Surah Al-Ma'idah: 6) mentions fardhu ablution in order to separate both hands and both feet (the obligation is to wash them), with a head that must be rubbed.

Sunnah of the Prophet practiced. also in accordance with the ablution fardhu. There was no history of any one that says that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam perform ablution with serial no. Our duty as Muslims is taqwa of Allah 'Azza wa Jalla and follow the sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam. And Allaah knows best.
To be continued, Insha Allah.

With the Work, Artists undermine U.S. Muslim Prejudice

When Wajahat Ali, a young American Muslims as well as a playwright from Fremont, takes viewers to his work, he also produced the drama in a small Pakistani restaurant in the East Bay and use Facebook as a promotion.

Drama entitled "The Domestic Crusaders" is displayed at the Berkeley Repertory Theater in 2005 and headed for the Broadway stage. Now, family members who initially skeptical Wajahat Ali's decision to pursue a career as a writer, seeing great strength in his profession.

Ali is one of the artists are increasingly growing in the Bay Area, which seeks to improve the image of one of the most complex identity in the country: American Muslims. In the highly politicized Islam, many Muslim artists say they hope to broaden understanding of the art of their belief among non-Muslims, as well as bridges to the Islamic tradition and American.

"We're at the point where Islam really means in this country, and it can be done through art," said Javed Ali, founder of Illume, Muslim online news sites as well as arts and culture magazine in Newark. Coverage Illume is the central nodes in the network of the Bay Area Muslim Americans.
A number of Islamic organizations in the Bay Area, including the much reported, the Zaytuna College in Berkeley, have changed their culture through movement. In January, the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California will open a new gallery in the center of the facility to showcase the works of Muslim artists.

Meanwhile, the cultural center in Oakland has decided to enhance their arts programs since six months ago as executive director said the agency, Ali Sheikholeslami. Institute in Oakland is routinely held titled "Islam and the Author" which invites the authors to discuss topics related to Islam.

"We want to break down common stereotypes and show the whole spectrum of Muslim reality," said director of development and promotion of cultural centers in Oakland, Jason van Boom.

One of the Muslim scholars behind the Zaytuna College, Hatem Bazian, the first liberal Muslim art institutions in the country, agrees that thought. "In American society, the expression of artists is a way to tell a story. So, Muslims began to describe their own narrative," he said.

Bazian said the ethnic mix and a large number of Native Americans are turning to Islam in the Muslim population in the Bay Area has created synergy. 'It can be seen from the art forms that break down ethnic boundaries, "he said. The population of Muslims in the Bay Area is estimated at 250 thousand people and is regarded as one of the most diverse communities in the U.S..

However, the effort was not always smooth. For the local Muslim American artists whose work is considered 'radical' by most conservative Muslims, bernarasi is not easy.

A number of the audience left the performance space, aka 'WO' on a show in early November at UC Berkeley. When the show was featuring drama titled "Hijabi Monologue".

"I need more time and energy to negotiate with the community whether it is music haram or not rather than the content of the story," said a native U.S. citizen who turned Muslim, Anas Canon. She was also the founder of record labels and talent scouts Muslim artists, Remarkable Current.

One of the difficulties he had faced when Remarkable Current which recently held a book signing with a DJ in Oakland. Debate was immediately sticking around women and men who dressed nearly alike and interact in one room together. A fiery comments on Facebook and even denounced the event has drawn hot comment from Muslims throughout the Bay Area.

No doubt, in the consciousness in the midst of controversy, such as construction proposals Muslim cultural center near ground zero, New York, some works of art from the second generation Muslims tinged with a sense of urgency.

"Our Narrative has been stolen," said Wajahat Ali. He refers to the depiction of the Muslim general who often displayed the American media. The tendency of parents to encourage their children into prestigious professions such as doctors, lawyers and businessmen, said he has lowered morale and creative voice.

But Palin is not the Bay Area Muslim artists to quickly create their own narratives. Ali works depicting the drama of modern Pakistani-American family, is now a famous literary magazine feature in the country, McSweeney.

Over the years Ali called the local art as a force 'latent' with the heartbeat that is ticking. But now Ali says "she started to dance."

Running Sunnah Fasting Ashura, Why Not?

By: Ibn Tiangfei

As Muslims, we are highly recommended to turn on various sunna of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. If we are willing to learn and practice, there are actually a lot of the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. Ranging from how to worship, how to eat, I drink, I sleep, I dressed, how to purification, the way out of the house and all the habits and behavior in motion and silence.

Photo:muslimkuonline.blogspot.com

Especially in the case of worship, there are a lot of the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam is very feasible for us to follow. An example is the sunnah of fasting. In addition to Monday-Thursday fasting, fasting is sunna that once exemplified by Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam is the sunnah of fasting Ashura. Fasting is done for three days, ie each of 9, 10, and 11 Muharram. But there are some scholars who argue that the fast of Ashura is done for two days, ie every 9th and 10th Muharram, adapula scholars who argue that the fast of Ashura is done for one day only, ie every 10th of Muharram. (And Allaah knows best.)

As Ramadan fasting, fasting Ashura and other voluntary fast has some value which is very useful virtue for Muslims. One of them is Allah 'Azza wa Jalla provide forgiveness and great reward to any of His servants who perform fasting (Ramadan fasting and fasting Sunnah). In accordance with the word of Allah 'Azza wa Jalla,
"Indeed, male and female Muslim, male and female believers, men and women who remain in obedience, men and women who are true, men and women who are patient, both men and women who fervently , men and women who give alms, men and women who fast, men and women who maintain his honor, men and women who many call (name of) Allah, Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and great reward " . (Surat al-Ahzab: 35).

Fasting Ashura is strongly recommended by Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. He said,

"Fasting is the most important after the fasting of Ramadan is fasting the month of Muharram." (Narrated by: Muslim).

"This hadeeth narrated Ibn Abbas radi 'anhu: he said: Ibn Abbas radi' anhu was asked about fasting on the day of Ashura ', he replied: I never saw the Messenger sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam virtues of fasting day to figure that day on day-to-day other than on this day. So did (I never saw him) fasting month except this month, the month of Ramadan. " (Narrated by: Muslim).

At first the fast of Ashura is required by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. And this is the habit of fasting Quraish in the time of Ignorance. But after Allah 'Azza wa Jalla ordered on the obligation of fasting month of Ramadan, the position of the fast of Ashura became fasting Sunnah.

"This hadeeth narrated Aisha radi 'anha, she said: It is the Quraish in the time of Ignorance always fasted on the day of Ashura' and the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam also fasted on that day. When he migrated to Medina, he still fasted on that day and told his companions to fast on that day. However, when required fasting month of Ramadan, he said: Those who want fast, then fasted and he who does not want to fast, then he should leave. " (Narrated by: Muslim).

Although the fast of Ashura is the sunnah of fasting, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam strongly recommend to every Muslims to run fast. Fasting Ashura (as well as the fasting of Ramadan and fasting, etc.) has several virtues. One of the virtues of fasting that has been mentioned above that Allah Almighty provides forgiveness and great reward to any of His servants who perform fasting. In addition, the primacy of other fasting is fasting as a shield (protective) themselves from all acts of sin. Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

"Fasting is a shield, an armored servant with him from the Fire." (Narrated by: Ahmad).

Because once the primacy of fasting, let us as Muslims perform the Sunnah of fasting (fasting Ashura). And Allaah knows best.

Turning Daily Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam (2)

By: Ibn Tiangfei

The position of a believer depends on their consistent commitment to the sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. The more that followed the Sunnah of the Prophet, the higher their standing before Allah 'Azza wa Jalla.

Actually there are so many daily sunna Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam we can possibly follow. Ranging from how to worship, how to eat, I drink, I sleep, I dressed, how to purification, the way out of the house and all the habits and behavior in motion and silence.

In the previous article has discussed about the sunnah of bed. This article will discuss about the sunnah in and out of the toilet (bathroom), the Sunnah of wearing footwear and sunnah in costume (partially excerpted from the book 'Aktsir Min Alfi Sunnatin Yaumi Wal Lailah Fil' (1000 Sunnah Daily Prophet), the work of Khalid Al -Husainan).

Entry and Exit Sunnah Toilets (Bathroom)

1. Sign in with your left leg and came out with his right foot.

2. Reading the prayer time will come, which means:

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil men and evil women." (Narrated by: Bukhari and Muslim).

3. Reading the prayer when out of the toilet / bathroom, which means:
"Forgive me, O God." (Narrated by: Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah and At-Tirmidhi).
Subhanallah, Islam religion is really easy. Why? Because only by logging in and out of the bathroom to produce a reward if the practice of some sunnah above. In a day and night a Muslim can be many times in and out of the bathroom. It means a Muslim has the opportunity to add 'collection' reward, namely by following the sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam.
Sunnah in Footwear Wearing

Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
"When any one of you wear footwear, must precede the right foot. When removed, let your left leg first. Or let him wear the two (a pair) or remove both (simultaneously) ". (Narrated by: Muslim).

Sunnah can be done by a Muslim many times in a day and night. For example, when he would leave and come home from work, when he would leave and come home from school, while going to and from the mosque and so forth. Beginning with the intention of worship, every time a Muslim wearing pads or bare feet, God willing, he will get a reward worth it.
Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam like to prioritize the right of doing things that are glorified (good).

Aisha said, "The Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam loved putting that right as much as possible in all affairs, as in the purification, combing hair, and wearing sandals (slippers)." (Narrated by: Bukhari).

Instead, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam prefer the left side of doing things that are not glorified (dirty). For example when going to the bathroom, when out of the mosque, when you remove the sandals, when you remove the clothes and other things that convey the same with it.

Sunnah in Dress

Wear or take off her clothes is the work done repeatedly by a Muslim in the day and night. For example, when it will go to work, when it will go to school, when it will go to the mosque and so forth.
Wear or take off her clothes have come from some of the sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. And when it is done with sincere heart, God willing, will produce a reward.

Some Sunnah in clothes:

1. Reading Bismillah when you use or remove clothing. Imam Nawawi rahimahullah said: "It is recommended in all work."

2. Read the usual prayers read by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam when wearing clothes, cloth or turban. Prayer is a means:

"O Allah, I beg thee to obtain his kindness and goodness of the goals of this clothing is made. I seek refuge in You from evil and evil purposes of this clothing is made. "(Narrated by: Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi and Ahmad).

3. When wearing clothes, starting with the right. This is based on the hadith the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam,

"When you wear clothes then start with that right." (Narrated by: At-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood and Ibn Majjah).

4. When removing clothing or fabrics, starting with the left.
Thus some of the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam that we should follow, for the degree of faith and piety can be increased in the presence of Allah' Azza wa Jalla. Regarding the other sunnah will be present at the next article. To be continued.
