Justice as Sunnatullah

The concept of fair and justice in the Islamic religion is so important portions. In the Koran, was recorded about 56 verses that speak about justice. In Arabic, the justice referred to as al-'Adalah. His understanding is the justice in all the coverage.

Quranic verses that call for the importance of fair and justice, among others, is "must be fair" (Surah An-Nisa [4]: 135, Al-Maidah [5]: 8, Al-An'am [6]: 152, An -Nahl [16]: 90); "must be fair in commerce" (Surah Al-Isra [17]: 35); "unfair to the opponent" (An-Nisa [4]: 105, Al-Maidah [5]: 8); and "God's statement about his justice" (Ali Imran [3]: 18).

In the ethics of human interaction, there is no principle that coveted people throughout history, such as justice. Unfair terms from Arabic which means middle or balanced. Justice means mizan (balance), ie, an attitude no exaggeration associated with the nature of wisdom.

Prof. Muhammad Abu Zahrah mete out justice in three parts, namely the legal justice, social justice, and global justice. Legal justice is the enactment of the law equally to all social strata. Not distinguish the rich or the poor, noble or humble. All persons before the law and regulations are the same.

Social justice is something that requires every individual within a group in order to live in dignity without any pressure and obstacles and be able to take advantage of capabilities in accordance with what is beneficial to themselves and others so they can grow collectively. Global justice is the main principle as the basis for enforcement of the relationship between Muslims and non-Muslim.
Put aspects of Islamic justice in a very high position in the system of legislation. There is no proof of justice that is so complete, except in the verses of the Koran. From there, presumably clear the position of the principle of justice in Islam.

In the case of families, for example, the Koran says, "If ye fear of being unjust, take only one wife." (Surah An-Nisa [4]: 3). In a small scale, ie, the family unit, we are commanded to be fair.

Justice must be considered a person in making decisions for polygamy or not. Thus, the existence of such an attitude is actually intended for one's actions do not cause harm to others. Is not it just means putting something into place proportionally?

The obligation to be fair in the writing of cooperation in commercial contracts (mu'amalah) also explicitly described in the Qur'an. Contract of employment agreements, leases, or debts that must be written clearly and fairly to protect the rights of each party concerned. Justice is sunatullah that can not be replaced.
